Dead Issue

As this issue seems to have died down, I'm going to stop wasting time an energy posting to this blog.  It's a dead issue, and it seems that everyone except two or three people are done talking about it.

All my other blogs will stay alive, don't worry!  :-)

Brother-in-law of Todd Kaufman?

For the person who thinks this blog was created with the help of Todd Kaufman's brother-in-law, I'd like to know how the hell you stumbled across that idea...

No, I can confirm that I am not Todd's brother-in-law.  Or sister-in-law.  Nor his mommy.  Get real.  Is it so hard to believe that only a family member would agree with him?  Posting a picture of someone's face onto a horse's ass to get a point across, and making a halo float over that same person's head is not appropriate for a businessperson to do to.

This blog wasn't created to defend Todd Kaufman.  It was to get a point across that the Bloodhound Gang's approach to this subject was completely immature and uncalled for.  And IMO, not people that I'd ever want to do business with.  I give money to real estate professionals.  Not Greg, not Jay, not Russel.

The Phoenix Real Estate Guy and Cathleen Collins

Jay Thompson. You're wrong on so many levels, my friend. You and your pal Cathleen Collins may have tried to leave comments on here, and I know your panties are all bunched up because you can't. Let me explain myself, even though I know you guys only like your side to every story. Freedom of speech.

First, this is far from my first blog. I didn't "forget" to disable commenting. I just didn't want the bloodthirsty troops Bloodhounds posting to my blog. Just like you don't want me posting to yours. If you guys want to bash what I say, bash me on your site like you do everything else. No reason to bash me on mine. Freedom of speech.

As for "afraid of the truth", I can only laugh. Is it me who's afraid of the truth? Or is it the Bloodhounds? I believe we're both only voicing our opinions. Freedom of speech.

"[We...] are hardly a small clique as you try to portray us to be in your little weblog"
-Cathleen Collins

Um, what?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this whole controversy start because of what a handful of people said?  And didn't that handful of people come from a group of "twenty-three contributors to BloodhoundBlog"?  In a county with 300,000 residents, and out of 1.3 billion Internet users, you are indeed a very small clique of people.

Very.

Greg Swann and Russel Shaw. Professionals?

Greg Swann and Russel Shaw, you think you're cool because you use your fancy computer programs to put people's faces on an animal's ass. For starters, Greg Swann, I don't need to do that to your picture... as you look like an ass even without Photoshop.

But, if I did want to take the time to superimpose you onto something, it may look something like this:

Oh, and can't forget about good ol' Russel Shaw, your best friend.

All Bashes Against Todd Kaufman from Same Sources

Go to bloodhoundrealty.com and look at the "contributor's websites" on the right hand side of a blog entry.

You'll notice several links, some of which include:
-Phoenix Real Estate Guy
-Real Central VA
-4Realz.net

Not a huge shock to find out this entire controversy was started because of the same, small group of people. And they're all online pals.

Todd Kaufman (Loudoun Assessor) and the "Constitutional Watchdog Committee"

Here's a letter the Constitutional Watchdog Committee sent to Todd Kaufman, the Assessor of Loudoun County, Virginia.

Dear Mr. Kaufman:

I am sure that you must consider it a singular privilege to live in and work for the people of Loudoun, Virginia. As a youth, and serving in the Army I had the pleasure of visiting Leesburg, while stationed for training at Ft. Lee. I have always held the state and people of Virginia in special admiration: home of the great founders of our nation above others, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and your own James Monroe. Therefore it is with some sadness, and partial disbelief that I have been brought to contact you in regards to what is clearly a violation of the United States Constitution.

I have the honor and privilege to be the National Chairman of the Western States Constitutionalist Alliance, a non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization operating in the 14 western states. We have friends and supports in your great state of Virginia, who have brought an issue to our attention, that we find we can not ignore. As teachers and defenders of the United States Constitution, it has become apparent to us that you have, either inadvertently or hopefully not deliberately, crossed the line in to violating the Constitution.

To the matter at issue, our Constitutional Watch Dog Committee, has examined the blog publications of Mr. Danilo Bogdanovic, a realtor in Loudoun County regarding the assessment of taxes on ?real property? in your county. His assertions appear to be a point of view, and a request to your office to ?address a grievance?. We have also reviewed your response to Mr. Bogdanovic, which can only be read as ?threatening?, ?harassment?, and sophomoric, totally unbecoming a public official. If the statistics were, or are in error, a simple clarification would have been in order. By your actions, who have violated the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, ?? to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.? Further, Mr. Bogdanovic has a perfect right to state his views on the tax situation in your county, First Amendment of the United States Constitution ?? abridging the freedom of speech??.

Your order to Mr. Bodganovic to remove ?erroneous? information does not identify any ?erroneous? data. If the facts are in error state the errors. YOU do NOT have the authority to demand corrections if you do not identify what is in error.

As a real estate professional, Mr. Bodganovic is REQUIRED to disclose tax information to potential buyers and sellers as he see?s them. It is your job to correct errors in this information, if there are any, and make it known to the realtor, which it appears by your correspondence, that we have seen, you have chosen to ignore.

Any citizen of the United States of America can, and should demand a ?redress of grievance? from Government, when a ?grievance? is apparent and applicable. The Western States Constitutionalist Alliance, will keep a close eye on this matter as it unfolds, and I can assure you that we are fully equipped to take appropriate actions when necessary to defend the United States Constitution, ask the City of San Diego, California.

Under separate cover we are enclosing a copy of the United States Constitution, read Amendment One? carefully. Ask Mr. Plowman, Commonwealth?s Attorney: the Constitution is the ?Law of the Land?. We teach it and defend it!

We invite you to visit our web site: www.westernalliance.8k.com we are proud to have supporters in Virginia, we hope that you will quickly correct these matters in question, and become one of them.

Most Respectfully Your Humble Servants,

The Western States Constitutionalist Alliance, Inc.
Val H. Starr
National Chairman
God Bless The Untied States of American

Mr. Starr claims to be a "youth", so I guess that's why his letter is full of grammatical errors and typos. That might also be why the website for the "Western States Constitutional Alliance" looks like shit. Just a thought.

Todd Kaufman Uneccessarily Attacked

I recently stumbled upon a bunch of blogs about Loudoun County tax assessor Todd Kaufman being bashed for responding to the authors of those blogs.

Some links to those websites can be found here:

The sites imply that Todd Kaufman doesn't understand his first amendment rights. Could there be a change that he's using his first amendment right of "freedom of speech" to respond to your own "freedom of speech"? Realtors have the responsibility of reporting accurate information. When Loudoun County Assessor Todd Kaufman realized false information was floating around, of COURSE he reported it to the Board of Realtors.

Rather than post pictures of his face plastered on animals, like on one blog I saw, why don't you just start by posting accurate information in the first place? Wouldn't that have prevented the whole situation?

Maybe you just wanted to make the news? Maybe you wanted to try out your new installation of Photoshop? Nonetheless, leave the guy alone. It's not like he's setting your tax rates. Go do your research.
